Meet Dr. Dersch

After more than 30 years as a therapist, I’ve learned that meaningful change rarely comes from simply addressing a problem at the surface.

My approach is grounded in Integrative Systemic Therapy, an approach that looks at the whole person—their experiences, relationships, patterns, strengths, and the context in which their problems occur. Rather than using the same method with every client, I tailor therapy to the individual people and relationships sitting in front of me.

We’ll look not only at what is happening, but at why it keeps happening. Where did this pattern come from? What purpose might it once have served? How is it affecting you or your relationships now? And, most importantly, what can we do differently?

My doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and master’s degree in Human Development have given me both a systemic and developmental perspective on people and relationships. I draw from different therapeutic approaches as appropriate, combining insight with practical strategies that can help create meaningful, lasting change.
